Financial Accountant Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a solid foundation in accounting and finance within the insurance or reinsurance space?

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Reinsurance Accounting team as a key member to support the financial and accounting needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill the financial and accounting requirements of reinsurance contracts and support timely deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the administration of premium and calculation of premium adjustments.
  • Contribute to the team's business plan to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for reinsurance contracts, ensuring accuracy and insight.
  • Ensure all processes are documented, accessible, and align with our policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with finance and wider stakeholders, facilitating efficient and effective collaboration.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software and data reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as PowerBI and/or Alteryx.
