Experienced Audiologist Wanted

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced audiologist to join our team in a job-shared role. This is a 12-month maternity relief position, working 3-4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive hearing assessments using various methods, including VROA, play audiometry, and pure tone audiometry.
- Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids to suit individual needs.
- Fitting and adjusting Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) devices to ensure optimal sound quality.
- Take impressions for custom-made ear plugs to provide effective noise protection.
- Offer expert advice on tinnitus rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including nurses, audiologists, and receptionists.
- Complete daily administrative tasks, such as documenting patient notes, performing hearing aid repairs, and communicating with suppliers.
- A relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., Master of Clinical Audiology, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the field.
- Knowledge of medical software, preferably Genie, would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Membership with Audiology Australia is required.
- Full training will be provided to the successful applicant where necessary.
