About the Role


The Specialised Carer will be responsible for delivering care within our Mudyigaali Respite Cottage in Dubbo, supporting guests during longer stays or short overnight visits. The successful candidate will ensure that guests enjoy the benefits of residential care, including specialised clinical care, assistance with daily tasks, a range of social activities, and freshly prepared meals.

  • Provide personal care, medication supervision, and specialised care according to each client's care plan
  • Ensure guests feel at home and supported throughout their stay

  • To work collaboratively with other team members to achieve positive outcomes for guests

Requirements

  • No formal qualification is necessary, but a Certificate III in Individual Support is an advantage
  • First Aid certificate desirable
  • Empathy and compassion are essential
  • Willingness to learn, with job training provided
  • Good administrative and computer skills, including use of a smartphone
  • Strong teamwork and professional communication, with ability to maintain confidentiality
