Mobile Patient Care offers Non-Emergency Patient Transport across Victoria and some areas of New South Wales. We work with a large fleet of ambulances and support our transport services with aircraft.

MPC provides clinical care for people travelling from home to hospital, hospital to hospital and hospital to home, as well as transport to and from specialist clinics.About the Role

We are currently seeking applications from skilled professionals for flexible casual positions.

Our team pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality patient care and treatment during the on-road transport of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions.

  1. Perform Patient Assessments: Utilize your skills to assess patients on-road and provide timely interventions when necessary.
  2. Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Deliver exceptional care and treatment to patients during on-road transport, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  3. Develop Positive Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with patients and stakeholders, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  4. Evaluate Interventions: Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with established guidelines, regulations, and scope of practice.
  5. Work Independently: Perform tasks independently, utilizing problem-solving skills within established policies and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  7. Maintain Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with RFDS MPC policies, procedures, and NEPT regulations to ensure best practice and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Be qualified as a Registered Paramedic or Division 1 Registered Nurse.
  2. AHPRA Registration: Hold current AHPRA registration (or pending approval for Paramedics).
  3. Experience: Have experience working in the non-emergency patient transport sector in an equal role desirable.
  4. NEPT Knowledge: Knowledge of NSW NEPT service specifications desirable.
  5. Licence: Hold a FULL NSW Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
  6. Availability: Availability to work shifts Monday – Friday with on-call weekend availability.

  4. Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis
  5. Annual Influenza
