Data Engineering Leadership Opportunity">Job Description:

As a senior member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of advanced data solutions using modern platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks. You will work closely with us to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data projects and teams to achieve successful outcomes for clients and the organization.
  • Play a technical role on projects as needed using modern big data tools and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Provide guidance and support to teams on best practices and technical matters.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Support sales initiatives through customer demonstrations and tender responses.
  • Be across commercial aspects of projects including estimation, resourcing, scoping and pricing.
  • Maintain relationships with clients as a trusted advisor on solution options.
  • Support data partnerships and work with the internal coordinator and leadership.
  • Mentor and coach team members and clients.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to the broader data team.
Requirements:
  • Extensive consulting experience with a proven track record of building relationships with technical and business leaders.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of the modern data ecosystem.
  • Expertise across the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle and ability to be hands-on when needed.
  • Experience working on large engagements and understanding complex customer requirements.
  • Proven experience in articulating the value proposition of an overall solution.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with confidence making presentations.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections.
  • Self-motivated and adept at navigating ambiguity to find solutions.
