This role involves providing specialist assessment and intervention for individuals in the criminal justice system.
- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for individuals in the criminal justice system, including in-reach services to courts and custodial settings.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning and continuity of service.
- Provide consultation and advice to those within the team and to service providers across health, justice, and community sectors.
- Support the team by providing information on disability support and helping navigate access pathways.
- Contribute to education, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced professional in assessment, care coordination, and intervention for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, and comorbidities.
- Experienced in working across multiple service systems (health, justice, and community).
- An excellent communicator with the ability to adapt style for different audiences, backed by strong report-writing and documentation skills.
- Committed to trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally responsive practice.
- Tertiary qualified in an Allied Health discipline, preferably with experience in disability services or forensic settings.
