About Our MRI Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced MRI professional to join our team as a Tutor. In this role, you will play a key part in the development of our next generation of MRI professionals.

As an MRI Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical education and mentorship to radiographers and students across our MRI team. You'll help them grow in skill and confidence by offering structured training, practical guidance and constructive feedback.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in MRI, with at least 5 years of clinical experience. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational resources and workshops to ensure our staff remain up to date with the latest MRI techniques and technologies.
  • Assess and report on learner progress to ensure they meet our standards.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of educational plans and resources.
  • Promote collaboration, continuous improvement and a supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in MRI with a strong knowledge of protocols, physics, anatomy, pathology and safety standards.
  • AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in MRI or equivalent.
  • Experience using various MRI systems (e.g. Siemens) and adaptability across platforms.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior radiographers or students, with a passion for supporting professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Willingness to travel across multiple sites and adjust training approaches based on local needs.
