Role Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced data engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology solutions. You'll work closely with our software development team to design, build, and deploy innovative data engineering solutions that meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality data engineering solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate as a member of the software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to other non-technical members of the team.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to support and technical troubleshooting activity.
  • Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficient in Data Engineering Skills such as SQL, AWS Data Engineering Services like EMR, Redshift, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and Glue, and Data Platforms like Hadoop and Snowflake.
  • Solid technical background in building data ingestion, data integration, data mapping, data quality, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working with Kafka, API integrations, and ETL Tools such as Ab Initio.
  • Expertise in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, scheduling tools (Autosys, Airflow), logging and monitoring tools (TeamCity, Octopus, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Snyk, and Sonarqube).
  • Ability to build solutions to meet the highest possible quality standards while balancing security, performance, availability, and maintainability concerns.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Good team player, interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills.
