Job Title: Concrete Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day management of one or more concrete plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and timely concrete supply to customers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Ensure efficient plant operations, align orders with staffing and raw materials, and maintain quality excellence through regular testing and approvals.
  • Performance Optimisation: Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement, implement process changes, and deliver commercial impact through cost control and SAP compliance.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure the achievement of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years' experience in concrete operations or heavy industry, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of concrete production, logistics, and quality control, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business Acumen: Financial literacy, including budgeting, P&L analysis, and SAP management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
