We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neurophysiology Specialist to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network.

Job summary

This is a permanent full-time position that involves assisting the Principal Medical Scientist in the timely and appropriate operational management of the clinical neurophysiology unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking diagnostic tests of a complex nature with reduced supervision and contributing to service development activities.

About the role

The Senior Medical Scientist position requires a relevant bachelor degree qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience. Recognised qualification in diagnostic clinical Neurophysiology with proof of competency to perform routine diagnostic studies is essential. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the application of the 10-20 measuring system and individual lead application, as well as knowledge of basic electronics pertaining to Neurophysiology equipment and recordings.

Key responsibilities

  • Undertake diagnostic tests of a complex nature with reduced supervision
  • Contribute to service development activities
  • Assist the Principal Medical Scientist in the operational management of the clinical neurophysiology unit

Requirements

  • Relevant bachelor degree qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Recognised qualification in diagnostic clinical Neurophysiology with proof of competency to perform routine diagnostic studies

Salary

$86,950 - $107,201 per annum + superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits
