Job Title: Neurophysiology Scientist

At the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Scientist to join our team. As a Neurophysiology Scientist, you will be responsible for assisting the Principal Medical Scientist in the timely and appropriate operational management of the clinical neurophysiology unit.
About the Role:
- Undertake diagnostic tests of a complex nature with reduced supervision
- Contribute to service development activities
- Assist in the provision of a client-centered diagnostic service
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic studies
- Apply the 10-20 measuring system and individual lead application
- Have knowledge of basic electronics pertaining to Neurophysiology equipment and recordings
- Be proficient in the use of digital recording systems used in Neurophysiology
Requirements:
- A relevant bachelor degree qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience
- Recognised qualification in diagnostic clinical Neurophysiology with proof of competency
- Ability to work within a large multi-disciplinary team and individually
- Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues and patients
