Job Description:

Job Title: Neurophysiology Scientist

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Various

At the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Scientist to join our team. As a Neurophysiology Scientist, you will be responsible for assisting the Principal Medical Scientist in the timely and appropriate operational management of the clinical neurophysiology unit.

About the Role:

  • Undertake diagnostic tests of a complex nature with reduced supervision
  • Contribute to service development activities
  • Assist in the provision of a client-centered diagnostic service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine diagnostic studies
  • Apply the 10-20 measuring system and individual lead application
  • Have knowledge of basic electronics pertaining to Neurophysiology equipment and recordings
  • Be proficient in the use of digital recording systems used in Neurophysiology

Requirements:

  • A relevant bachelor degree qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience
  • Recognised qualification in diagnostic clinical Neurophysiology with proof of competency
  • Ability to work within a large multi-disciplinary team and individually
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues and patients
