Payroll Position

A Payroll Officer Role Awaits — Type: Full-time.


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.


Responsibilities

  • End-to-end payroll processing including accurate calculation and payment of salaries, wages, and other benefits
  • Maintenance of employee records and data accuracy to ensure seamless integration with payroll systems
  • Providing support and assistance with payroll queries and issues
  • Interpreting awards, employment contracts, and collective agreements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Supporting reconciliations and payroll reporting to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports
  • Ensuring adherence to PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax requirements

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex payroll issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and software, preferably with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Previous experience in payroll or a related field is highly regarded, although training and support are available for junior candidates
