This is an exciting opportunity to join a major Federal Government program delivering innovative, large-scale ICT solutions. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project planning, scheduling, and technical solution delivery across multiple ICT streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement project plans that meet business requirements, security standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Manage Delivery Partners and Internal Teams: Collaborate with delivery partners and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, security standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee Release Planning, Change Management, and Compliance Activities: Ensure timely and effective release of solutions, manage change requests, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Apply Agile and DevOps Principles: Apply agile and DevOps principles to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Manage Risks, Issues, and Dependencies: Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project deliverables.
  • Foster a Collaborative Team Culture: Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages open communication, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will bring 8–10 years' experience delivering large-scale ICT projects in complex environments, ideally within Federal or State Government. Your background includes hands-on project management across mobile applications, platforms, and enterprise technology, with expertise in contemporary governance frameworks and agile methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Diploma of Project Management or SAFe Agile certification.
  • Industry-Recognised Certifications: Industry-recognised certifications, such as SAFe Agile, are highly regarded.
  • Experience in Accessibility-Focused Projects: Experience in accessibility-focused projects will be highly regarded.
