About the Role

We're seeking a talented FPGA Developer to join our team in Sydney. As an FPGA Developer, you'll work closely with our team to design and develop highly accurate and efficient systems that solve complex problems in real-time. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing FPGA-based systems for trading applications
  • Working with our team to develop and implement new technologies and tools
  • Collaborating with our trading and risk management teams to ensure seamless integration of FPGA-based systems
  • Developing and maintaining rigorous test benches using VHDL and System Verilog
  • Exploring new mechanisms for faster data communication and processing to accelerate network infrastructure and trading systems

About You

We're looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a passion for technology, particularly FPGA hardware. You'll have a strong background in HDL languages, such as VHDL and/or Verilog, as well as experience with Python and/or C++. You'll also have a solid understanding of network protocols, FPGA logic elements, transceivers, memory, and other on-chip resources. Additionally, you'll have some experience developing algorithms in software and be keen to create high-performance, low-latency designs that critically impact trading success.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to be a final-year university student or recent graduate for the graduate program or a penultimate or pre-penultimate university student for the internship program. You'll also need to be studying a Computer Science, Software/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or similarly technical degree, and be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or able to provide evidence of full working rights.
