About the Company
Our client is a reputable logistics and transportation company based in Australia who specializes in oversized and heavy-loads transport across the country. They pride themselves on identifying the most efficient and safe routes, having secure additional escorts, and having quality equipment maintained by onsite qualified mechanics.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MC driver who is confident in transporting oversized and heavy loads. A motivated MC driver preferably with BFM and float experience, our client has plenty of work available, with the majority of the work being interstate. When working interstate, all trucks have sleeping quarters, and a $50 per night allowance is provided. You can be away from home between 1-10 days. Ideally, we want full-time experienced drivers. Immediate interview and start are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport oversized loads to destinations both locally and interstate
- Oversee loading and unloading of loads
- Securing loads
- Conducting pre-starts and other WHS requirements
- Providing friendly, reliable service to customers
Skills & Experience
- MC Licence
- Experience with heavy loads and oversized floats (min 4.5m)
- Knowledge of road transport Legislation including fatigue management (Basic Fatigue management)
- White Card
- Good communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude
