Outside of School Hours Care Educator

This is a dynamic role that involves delivering exceptional experiences for children, families, and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the service manager in preparation and delivery, as well as assisting with food preparation, setting up/packing up activities, and supervising children to ensure their safety.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education, and is willing to develop their skills through ongoing training and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive programs for children
  • Support the service manager in achieving service goals and objectives
  • Assist with daily operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field (ideal but not essential)
  • Working towards or holding a Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Employee Working with Children's Check valid in the relevant state
  • HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting certification
