Childcare Educator Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Childcare Educator to join our team. As an Outside of School Hours Care Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality childcare services to children.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for creating engaging and educational programs that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children.

  • Deliver high-quality childcare services to children, including meal preparation and setup/packing up activities.
  • Support the service manager with program planning and delivery.
  • Assist with supervision of children and ensuring their safety within the program.
  • Be open, caring, and engaged with our team to help drive our mission of giving every child the best day ever.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the childcare industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Working towards or willing to enrol in an ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Level qualification.
  • Completed an ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma level qualification.
  • Employee Working with Children's Check valid in the relevant state.
  • Valid HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting (including First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training).
