AWS Solutions Architect

About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement comprehensive technical architecture and solution designs for cloud-based applications.
- Migrate existing applications from EC2 workloads to ECS or EKS with AWS Fargate.
- Develop and execute test plans to identify and resolve issues.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate software builds, unit testing, and deployment.
- Implement monitoring and alerting to cover performance, cost, capability, reliability, analysis of trends, and environment optimizations.
- Demonstrated experience working with AWS, including migrating applications from EC2 workloads to ECS or EKS.
- Excellent knowledge of AWS Fargate (via ECS or EKS), ECR, Amazon MQ/RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, Elastic Load Balancers, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Amazon CDK), and Docker.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in AWS, such as VPCs, IAM, Security Groups, WAFs, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config.
- Strong scripting skills in TypeScript, Python, and Bash.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for building and managing secure CI/CD pipelines.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A base salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum.
- A bonus structure based on individual and team performance.
