Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized professional to join our team in a busy healthcare setting. As a Patient Services Officer, you will provide exceptional administrative support to clients and staff while maintaining a professional demeanor in an ever-changing environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative support in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Manage patient records and filing of patient notes.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the clinic by continuously liaising with the team to ensure efficient processes.

Requirements:

  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms highly valued.
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle high-volume patient inquiries.
