Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our Verifications Lending Solutions team. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mortgage production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete tasks on residential mortgage files to the required service level standards;
  • Monitor internal reports and dashboards daily;
  • Ensure files are updated on Dentons Lend;
  • Complete tasks in PEXA;
  • Review loan and mortgage documents to ensure accuracy and compliance from a legal and client perspective;
  • Certify files for settlement;
  • Organize paper and PEXA settlements;
  • Communicate with clients, borrowers, solicitors, and brokers via phone and email.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a document verification/certification/funding role in a legal or financial services environment is essential;
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional matters;
  • Knowledge of multiple State property laws and requirements;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Superior organizational and time management skills;
  • Solve problems in a proactive and thorough manner.
