The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and delivering innovative programs, as well as excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the Humanities curriculum for students in Years 7-12
- Lead and manage a team of teachers to achieve high-quality teaching and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Have experience in leading and managing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other members of the community
- SC.1 Philosophy of Humanities education in a contemporary learning environment
- SC.2 Experience in developing and delivering curriculum innovation and development of programs and units of study
- SC.3 Capacity to lead teaching teams and navigate the demands of the QCAA Humanities Curriculum
- SC.4 Willingness to support the Christian Ethos of the College
