Transport Allocator

Job Description:

The role of the Transport Allocator is to effectively plan and execute daily load and route plans, ensuring system completion of loads as they occur.

This position involves actively working with Independent Contractors, ensuring the daily load and route plan for all channel deliveries is executed. Additionally, the Transport Allocator will be responsible for directing Independent Contractors in their execution of the daily load and route plan, ensuring permanently placed fleet vehicles are on site, and monitoring daily loads to ensure service delivery to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Geographical knowledge and road system
  • Transport Allocator experience

  • Able to see impacts or knock on effects during problem solving,
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Preferably Excel
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
