Job Title

As a Graduate, you will be part of our dynamic team and receive comprehensive training to set you up for a career in corporate immigration law.

You will have ownership of a caseload and be expected to proactively manage workflows with direct client contact. Working closely with our team of experienced lawyers, you will help to prepare and file visa applications that meet the legal requirements. You will draft legal documents and client correspondence, as well as being the day-to-day liaison with clients, assisting in client interviews, and completing legal research.

The role sits in a fast-paced, yet supportive and highly collaborative environment. You will be supported by administrative staff, as well as experienced lawyers committed to your learning and development. The ideal candidate would be a recent law graduate, about to be admitted, or recently admitted to legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and filing visa applications that meet the legal requirements
  • Draft legal documents and client correspondence
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison with clients
  • Assist in client interviews
  • Complete legal research

Requirements:

  • Recent law graduate, about to be admitted, or recently admitted to legal practice
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Focused on client service, working with a range of clients to understand their challenges and executing solutions
  • Process driven, possessing excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in various systems and technology
  • Accountable, with an ability to work independently and perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
