Medical Professional Role

This is a civilian medical position working with the Australian Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and policies.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve health and wellbeing objectives.
  • Evaluate personnel for fitness for duty and provide pre and post deployment healthcare support.
  • Offer medical technical guidance to commanding officers and health unit managers.
  • Work within a supportive team environment including senior medical officers and uniformed colleagues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and make informed decisions.
