Healthcare Strategist

This role involves leading strategic initiatives to enhance the medical workforce and quality of service delivery within a local health district.

• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize junior medical officer rosters and improve service efficiency.
• Manage a small team responsible for rostering, payroll inquiries, and supporting departments in developing performance indicators. Ensure compliance with locum management systems.
• Engage stakeholders, develop resources, and maintain a culture of accountability and excellence.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in information management, performance analysis, and technology using SQL (intermediate skills), Excel, and Power BI (advanced skills).
• Experience in developing performance reporting systems and competent in deploying software tools to engage clinicians with data.
• Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders.
