Job Description

The Director Role: Embedded Non-Financial Risk & Conduct Advisory leads banking relationship management and provides transaction banking, risk management, and capital solutions to clients.

This position partners with business units to integrate non-financial risk management & conduct processes including advising, challenging, and assessing risks, reviewing and implementing control environments, resolving issues, investigating incidents, and monitoring regulatory and conduct obligations.

Key responsibilities include ensuring effective assessment of risks, controls, and regulatory obligations across the business profile in alignment with risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and managing a team to drive continuous improvement of the business control environment.

This role is pivotal in shaping the risk culture to achieve fair outcomes for clients, protect market integrity, meet regulatory requirements, and protect people.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience in Non-Financial Risk, Conduct or Compliance roles within Institutional Banking or Financial Markets;
  • Deep understanding of operational risk frameworks, control design, and regulatory landscapes;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and strong critical thinking;
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills and high attention to detail;
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and influence senior stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint;
