Early Childhood Educator

As an Early Childhood Educator, your role is to provide a stimulating environment that fosters all aspects of child development.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop programmes in consultation with educators, children, and families to meet the needs of our children.
  • Ensure programmes are designed, implemented, and evaluated in line with the National Quality Framework.

Communication and Relationships:

  • Build trusting relationships with families through regular communication regarding the care of their children.
  • Actively collaborate with families and team members to achieve shared goals.

Teaching and Learning:

  • Enhance children's thinking and learning through intentional teaching strategies, inspiring environments, and spontaneous play experiences.
  • Analyse information from written observations to ensure children's strengths, interests, and preferences are included in the programme and activities.

Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Mentor educators in the education, care, and supervision of all children.
  • Experience leading and guiding a team to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • ACECQA Approved degree in Early Education or working towards.
  • Current Valid Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates.
