**Job Description:**

We're seeking a seasoned expert to manage and maintain our streaming data platform environment. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of our data platform installations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, and mentoring junior colleagues to foster growth and development.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in streaming data platforms, including Snowflake, Cloudera Hadoop, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or SingleStore (MemSQL)
  • Hands-on expertise with Hadoop technologies such as HDFS, Pig, Hive, Spark, Presto, Impala, and management of the Hadoop system
  • Kubernetes administrative and/or DevOps experience with a strong preference toward data platforms managed and deployed within Kubernetes
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in Unix, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems
