As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated allied health and clinical team providing rehabilitation programs in an in-patient setting.

Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, providing therapy in both individual and group settings while developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to the clinical support and leadership of the Physiotherapy team, with the support of the senior orthopaedic physiotherapy team. The role requires up to 30.4 hours per week.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Physiotherapist with experience obtained in an acute hospital setting. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build rapport and deliver a high standard of customer-focused service.

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent with registration.
  • The ability to apply clinical reasoning, sound judgement and complex decision making at an advanced level of practice.
  • The ability to devise and evaluate evidence-based practice within assessment and treatment protocols.
  • Experience providing clinical education and supervision to junior staff members, Allied Health Assistants and/or students.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an acute hospital setting.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
