About the Role

As a Hospitality Services Assistant, you will provide direct hospitality services to our residential care facility on a daily basis. Your tasks include assisting with the preparation, cooking, and delivery of food services to all residents throughout the facility.

Under the supervision of the hospitality coordinator and head chef, you will assist in all areas of the kitchen while complying with Aged Care and Food Regulations and Standards. You will work closely with the hospitality and Residential Care teams to ensure high-quality service and care to all residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and presentation for all residents.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality and Residential Care teams to achieve high-quality service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate III in Health Support Services/Hospitality/Food Services or equivalent.
  • Experience using commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Intermediate culinary skills.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Team player.
  • Good interpersonal and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and directives.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • 2021 flu immunisation certificate.
  • 2nd dose COVID Vaccination.
