Upholstery Apprenticeship Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Upholstery Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the industry.

This is a fantastic chance to kick-start your career in upholstery and learn from the best. You will be working full-time, 38 hours per week, while studying for a Certificate III in Upholstery.

  • Dismantling and reassembling furniture
  • Selecting, cutting, sewing and fitting fabric and leather upholstery material
  • Specialising in areas of marine or automotive upholstery as well as furniture
  • Using computer-aided drawing programs
  • Measuring and using tools and machinery

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness to learn and take direction
