Job Summary:
Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Behaviour Mentor in a Primary School setting. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour, fostering strong relationships with both students and staff, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour, promoting positive relationships and a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to provide targeted interventions and support, ensuring students receive the help they need to succeed.
- Provide individualized support to students, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management plans, working closely with teachers and other support staff.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
