Support Worker for Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Support Worker to join our dynamic team.
About the RoleThis role requires a kind, passionate individual with patience and an empathetic nature who can provide a supportive environment for clients with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to individuals at their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, household duties, and community participation.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate 3 in Disability Support Services or Age Care, and a minimum of six months' experience in supporting people with disabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Certificate 3 in Disability Support Services or Age Care
- Minimum of six months' experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Working with Children's Check, or in process of obtaining one
- SIL & STA environment experience advantageous
- Car and driver's licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Two - three relevant professional reference checks
- First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate
- COVID-19 fully vaccinated
- Willingness to travel to Raceview area, QLD
- Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Infection Control, Worker Orientation Module, and First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Prefers English as first language and Australian citizenship
- Mental Health experience (Working with Complex clients)
- Experience with wheelchair-bound clients
- Medication Administration
- Intellectual Disability
