Secondary Teaching Position Overview

About The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive and orderly learning environment that is student-centred, supportive, and cooperative. You will work collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers, and other staff to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-quality curriculum programs and effective pedagogy; evaluate their effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes to students, parents, and the community
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
  • Establish positive relationships in pastoral care and support students' spiritual and moral development
  • Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will bring contemporary skills and experience, including: designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers; commitment to collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents to enrich learning experiences and achieve strong educational outcomes; passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.
