Midwife Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Midwife to join our dedicated team in the Birth Suite and Postnatal Ward.

As a midwife, you will provide comprehensive care to women and infants, offer breastfeeding support, and mentor less experienced colleagues.

  • Provide midwifery care to women and infants in the Birth Suite & Postnatal Ward.
  • Offer breastfeeding support and parent education.
  • Mentor and support less experienced midwives, student nurses, and AINs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and care plans.
  • Ensure best practices in infection control, patient safety, and discharge planning.
About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in a supportive environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work culture.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA-registered Midwives (or eligible for registration).
  • Experienced midwives preferred, but all applications welcome.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for patient-centred care and team collaboration.
