The role of the Energy Strategy and Delivery Manager is to develop and implement strategies for power infrastructure projects across different regions. This includes evaluating power needs for data center sites, developing power infrastructure strategies, and managing utility connection enquiries, load applications, contracts, and agreements to secure and optimize data center power capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage utility connection enquiries, load applications, contracts, and agreements to secure & optimize data center power capacity.
- Support internal procurement, design, and construction teams through the end-to-end EPC process for dedicated substation power infrastructure delivery.
- Negotiate network tariff and support internal retail contract agreements to optimize power purchase costs.
- Undertake power due diligence for new or proposed data center sites to check power availability and feasibility.
- Identify risks and opportunities for the regional power infrastructure network and utility planning to support data center growth.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering/Business or other technical field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and team building skills capable of building strategic working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex projects through their lifecycle.
