Job Title: Restoration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Restoration Specialist to join our team in Southeast Queensland.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a growing company that is committed to delivering high-quality restoration services across Southeast Queensland.

  • Carry out thorough inspections and assessments of damage to properties, providing detailed reports and recommendations for further restoration work required.
  • Carry out a variety of restoration tasks and structural drying in residential and commercial properties to mitigate loss.
  • Operate specialized restoration equipment and tools to carry out mitigation work safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination and timely completion.
  • Maintain detailed records of all restoration activities performed onsite and comply with industry regulations.
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of junior technicians to support their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar role within the trades and services industry.
  • Relevant IICRC certifications will be an advantage.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on expertise in property restoration, including water damage, smoke and fire, biohazard and mould mitigation.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable to handle a variety of restoration tasks and work in different environments.
  • A current driver's license and working rights in Australia.
  • Blue Card as well as a White Card (Construction), or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
