System Support Specialist

The System Support Specialist is accountable for delivering technical support services across the product lifecycle.

">

This role involves resolving customer issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance, and developing comprehensive documentation of support cases and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Deliver timely and effective technical support to customers via various communication channels.">
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.">
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of support cases, solutions, and product updates.">
  • Prepare detailed reports on support metrics, trends, and customer feedback to inform product development.">
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and quality assurance teams to communicate customer feedback and system performance issues.">
  • Participate in product development meetings to provide insights from a support perspective.">
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on system features and best practices.">
  • Develop and update training materials and user manuals as needed.">
  • Assist in identifying and controlling system configurations.">
  • Provide technical guidance on the development of business cases and external proposals.">
  • Support systems engineering and engineering management process improvement initiatives.">

Essential Experience / Qualifications

  • ">
  • Degree in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, communications, computer science, or related discipline.">
  • 6 or more years related work experience.">
  • Professional experience in the specification, design, analysis, manufacture, and test of products, particularly in aerospace or related industries.">
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in applying systems engineering principles, data, and tools in aerospace or related industries.">
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure successful outcomes that meet project deliverables and adhere to critical deadlines.">

  • ">
  • Demonstrated experience in Systems Support Engineering roles, including ILS, MRD, and technical troubleshooting.">
  • Demonstrated experience with other engineering design, prototyping, drawing, analysis, and test tools.">
  • Knowledge of engineering lifecycles, development methodologies, and rapid prototyping methodologies.">
  • Prior experience working in or closely with Australian defense organizations.">
  • Prior experience with unmanned systems, tactical datalink systems, and/or vehicle modification projects.">
  • Experience with DASR compliance, specifically Part 21J, Part 145M, and UAS.">
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly UAS.">
