About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Supervisor to join our innovative and child-centered team. This role is crucial in shaping our practices and influencing the Stronger Together initiative.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for and understanding of the child protection sector, alongside a commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed practices.

Our Integrated Family Services aim to provide a variety of customized services designed to strengthen families and enhance the wellbeing of children and young people. As a Supervisor, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership capabilities, foster meaningful relationships with external partners, navigate complex challenges, and effectively manage workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical supervision and oversee the development and monitoring of staff within Integrated Family Services, addressing case issues and escalating risks as per established protocols.
  • Conduct regular case reviews to ensure that effective plans are in place and that appropriate case management practices are being followed.
  • Assess and respond to risks in a timely manner, ensuring that necessary reporting is completed and addressed.
  • Adopt a strengths-based, child-centric approach to practice when working with children, young people, and families.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in effective case management with families, utilizing holistic, consultative, and collaborative methods.
  • Proven ability to engage with First Nations communities, as well as Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Newly Arrived populations.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or related Social Sciences at the degree level, or extensive relevant experience.
