
Rates and Database Administrator

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering our property database to ensure accurate and timely levying of Council rates and charges.
You will be working closely with the Coordinator Rates and Property to deliver high-quality outcomes and achieve compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update our property database to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Process land information certificates, daily payments, and rate refunds in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve ratepayer enquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in the timely collection of overdue rates and charges by collaborating with our debt collection agency.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven commitment to providing excellent customer service and a “can do” attitude in a busy office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake duties with an emphasis on attention to detail to ensure accurate data is maintained in our property database.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet required deadlines.
- Proven ability to work co-operatively in a team environment and to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Well-developed verbal and written skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers.
