About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Section Manager with a civils background to join our team on a public infrastructure project in Western Australia. This is a permanent role that offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a large multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of the overall project scope within the time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
- Drive high performance through collaboration, positive leadership, identification of risks, and interface with clients and authorities, and support the Project Director to ensure client and community expectations are managed.
- Actively promote continuous improvement and innovation; seek to learn from experiences of self and others to find better ways of doing things.
- Build balanced teams with the right skills and behaviours; invest time and energy to coach and develop talent.
- The ability to work with and influence stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes for all parties.
- Extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects, with experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
- A degree in engineering or construction management.
- Extensive construction experience including construction planning and management, leading teams, budgeting and planning, procurement, risk management, client management, dispute/issue resolution.
- You will have a communication style that is adaptable from dealing with technical through to presenting information to asset owners/stakeholders.
