As a data-driven problem solver, you will work with clients on short to medium term customer engagements focused on machine learning and generative AI challenges.

Responsibilities include providing technical solutions that integrate with client systems, training data models, and other technical tasks to help customers maximize the value of their data.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data science and machine learning projects, including solution architecture design, MVP development, and production-grade applications.
  • Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational data science and generative AI initiatives, encompassing end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading applications.
  • Consult on ML architecture and design; bootstrap or implement strategic customer projects leading to successful adoption of Databricks.
  • Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
  • You will work closely with the Databricks technical team, project managers, architects, and customer-facing teams to ensure the technical aspects of the engagement meet customer needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer-facing technical architecture or consulting roles, preferably with expertise in:
    • ML Engineer: Design and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting production-grade ML applications.
    • Data Scientist: Familiarity with latest techniques in machine learning and generative AI processing, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs with tools like HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
  • Proficiency in coding languages Python or Scala.
  • Experience with project delivery management – scope, timelines.
  • Documentation and white-boarding skills.
  • Conflict resolution and client management experience.
  • Travel requirement: 20 - 30% of the time.
  • Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
