Water Modelling Expert

Seeking a Water Modelling Expert to build and calibrate hydrological and hydraulic models for water and wastewater networks and water resource systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and calibrate hydrological and hydraulic models for water and wastewater networks and water resource systems.
  • Analyse and assess hydrologic, hydraulic, GIS and survey data.
  • Utilise GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Undertake modelling investigations, options assessments, master planning, growth and development studies, and operational / control systems design and validation.
  • Communicate model development and model outcomes with internal and external stakeholders, including preparation of modelling reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • Five years or more of relevant work experience.
  • Experience using modelling software such as InfoWorks, MIKE, Source or Wathnet.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
