Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to take on a key role within our organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for a category manager looking to advance their career and contribute to the success of our team.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to drive business outcomes and achieve cost savings.
- Conduct thorough market research, issue RFIs, RFPs, and ITTs to procure high-quality solutions that meet our operational needs.
- Achieve significant cost reductions across multiple procurement categories, as assigned by senior management.
- Plan, develop, and negotiate commercial agreements to deliver required business results and savings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and determine the most suitable contracting framework.
- Maintain accurate records of preferred suppliers, ensuring seamless communication throughout the organization.
- Assist in developing contract management plans, processes, and frameworks to mitigate commercial risks and monitor supplier performance.
- Stay up-to-date on current sustainability practices and track our progress against relevant organizational targets.
- Conduct thorough vendor due diligence and provide expert advice on vendor risk management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in a Procurement, Finance, or Operations environment.
- CIPS Level 4 or higher desirable, though not essential.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Purchase Plus or similar P2P systems.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiating and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple procurement cycles simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Category experience in F&B, Hospitality, and Property services would be advantageous.
