Coffee Roaster & Packer Role

We're a progressive and dynamic coffee roasting business driven by passion and ambition. Our team is energized by the shared goals of our coffee community, working together to achieve combined targets.

This role offers a fun and relaxed environment with opportunities for growth and development as a complete coffee professional under the guidance of industry leaders.

You'll be responsible for daily production roasting and packing, meeting scheduled targets and performing production duties including manual lifting, packaging, taping, labelling and sorting.

Additional responsibilities include moving product and inventory using a walkie stacker, working in a team environment to drive combined targets and utilizing and analyzing roasting software.

Maintaining quality control records and sample retention is also an essential part of this role, along with batching and blending to exact ratios and maintaining a clean and orderly work area adhering to safety requirements.

  • Prior experience in the specialty coffee industry is required.
  • A high level of motivation, autonomy and ability to meet deadlines under pressure is essential.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills are required.
  • The ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to written and verbal instructions is crucial.
