Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

  • Perform engineering and project management tasks for the delivery of land development and infrastructure projects from initiation through to construction.
  • Preparation and update of civil engineering documentation including design reports, cost estimates, specifications, tender documentation, programs and schedules.
  • Apply civil engineering knowledge to various works which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support engineering projects related to land development and infrastructure.
  • Perform site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects, including adherence to design specifications, safety protocols and Local/State Government standards.
  • Assist in the review of engineering drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and perform other contract administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Contribute to the development of company processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in civil engineering, project management and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, standards and guidelines.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development through self-study, training and seminars, and maintaining your Continual Professional Development (CPD).
