Woolworths Group: Trolley Collector Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Proactive Services Team as a Trolley Collector Driver. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our stores remain clean and tidy for our customers.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time or casual opportunity that requires flexibility across Monday-Sunday with shifts starting from 6am or 4pm. You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates). We encourage applicants who have a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect trolleys in car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle.
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle.
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays.
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle.
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection.
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks.
Requirements:
  • A valid Australian drivers licence.
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
