Culinary Sanitation Specialist

Panthers Penrith is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Culinary Sanitation Specialist to enhance our dynamic kitchen environment.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute significantly to our bustling kitchen operations. Your role will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our two high-traffic kitchens. Responsibilities will include the thorough cleaning of kitchen spaces, food storage areas, and the preparation of kitchen equipment and tools. A commitment to excellence and self-motivation will be key to ensuring that all kitchen areas are impeccably maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of kitchen and food storage areas;
- Clean kitchen utensils, machinery, and appliances;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations;
- Manage the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment;
- Assist during events by transporting food and serving items as needed;
- Support the kitchen staff with various general tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred;
- Strong communication abilities;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Good physical fitness to handle lifting and moving kitchen items;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure;
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
