Key Responsibilities- To provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
- To act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to personal care staff
- To work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents by closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
