Heavy Diesel Engine Rebuilder

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Heavy Diesel Engine Rebuilders. In this hands-on workshop position, you will be responsible for the complete strip-down, inspection, rebuild, and review of test results for heavy diesel engines.

  • Strip, clean, inspect, and rebuild Caterpillar engines to specification.
  • Assess engine condition prior to rebuild and ensure required parts and reclamation have been identified accordingly.
  • Operate with a high focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Use precision measuring tools and follow OEM technical data.
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet turnaround targets.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in rebuild processes.
  • Detailed service reports.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent) and proven experience rebuilding Caterpillar C Series / 3200 Series or similar off-highway truck heavy diesel engines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience rebuilding Caterpillar C Series / 3200 Series or similar off-highway truck heavy diesel engines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent).
